1. Who we are

PALMS Pilot is a browser extension and related website operated by Hynds AI LLC (“Hynds AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Idaho, USA. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the PALMS Pilot extension and the website at this domain (together, the “Service”).

PALMS Pilot is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by BNI (Business Network International).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Purchase details — your name (or chapter name) and email address when you buy a license or start a trial, so we can create and deliver your license key.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email.

Information created when you use a license

• License & activation data — your license key, a non-identifying device identifier, and activation timestamps, used to validate your license and enforce plan limits.
• Basic server logs — standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) generated when the extension contacts our licensing server. Used for security and troubleshooting.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number. Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

3. What we do not collect

• Your BNI login or password. The extension never asks for, stores, or transmits your BNI credentials.
• Your BNI activity data. Referrals, TYFCB, one-to-ones, CEUs, visitor data and similar information stay within your own BNI session and your own browser. We do not read, copy, or receive it.
• Your notes and checklist. Meeting notes and checklist progress are stored locally in your browser (local storage) and are not sent to us.

4. How we use information

• To create, deliver, validate, and renew your license.
• To provide the Service and enforce plan and seat limits.
• To send you your license key and essential service-related messages.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Service providers we use

We share limited information only with providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending license and service emails.
• Abacus.AI — application hosting and infrastructure.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Data retention

We keep purchase and license records for as long as your license is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and support purposes. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete personal information that we are not required to keep (see below).

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at [email protected]. You can clear locally stored notes and checklist data at any time by removing the extension or clearing your browser storage.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to keep the Service safe.

9. Changes & contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
